The Geek Group offers demonstrations with all of our robots for groups of up to 60 people at a time. Contact our main lab to book a custom demonstration for your group at (269) 567-4335. Demonstrations are by appointment only and are written individually to match the age range and specific interests of your attending group. Some of the modules we are developing for demonstrations include:

Small Robots: A small SCARA type robot solves the Towers of Hanoi problem on a table. Very fast and simple demo of a robot performing a complex task.

Thinking Robots: A Robot moves chess pieces on a standard chess board. The robot plays against a human spectator in a very tactile game of computer chess.
Computer aided Machining: A spectator draws shapes on a computer in a 3D modeling program and a large robot carves the shapes out of a solid block of plastic, wood, or Ice.

Robotic Copying: A large robot is setup with a measurement probe and measures a 3D object, inputting the object into an AutoCAD file. A separate robot with a cutting tool carves a duplicate of the object out of a solid block of wood, plastic, or ice.

Robotic Art: A robot draws complex detailed pictures from an input drawing made by a spectator or from a selected photograph.
